Type Camp host a number of different camps throughout each year. The camps can be broken down into three different styles. Type Camp offer retreat style lettering camps which take place in relaxing settings. Immersion camps which can involve travel, and urban camps which are hosted over a couple of days and tend to be more intense.
Many of the Type Camp instructors are world renowned. The super talented and very knowledgeable Ken Barber can be found on the list of Type Camps instructors. Shelley Gruendler will be leading the next set of scheduled camps. She is the founder of Type Camp and has an extensive educational background in typography and graphical communication. Xandra Zamora will also be instructing, she has more than twenty years of experience running a calligraphic business.
Type Camp have released a schedule of their latest lettering camps, which include a variety of different locations around the world.
